The online privacy and safety of our members is of utmost importance to this website and its owners and suppliers and we will therefore enforce the following privacy policy:

  1. Profiles will only be displayed online for members who are 16 years of age and older.
  2. Contact information (street address, email, phone) will not be displayed publicly on this website.
  3. Members, including Dance Studios and Dance Schools, must be logged in with a valid,  approved account, in order to access each other’s contact information.
  4. This website and its owners will not distribute your contact information outside members of the network without your permission, except as required to technically operate the website and network, and when required by law.
  5. Members should respect the privacy of each other’s contact information disseminated within.  If you obtained another member’s contact information solely through this network, you MAY NOT disclose that contact information without that member’s permission.  Any member found in violation of this policy may be suspended or removed from the network
  6. This website is meant for personal use only.  Information on this site is intended for personal purposes only, for communication among Dance Teachers, Dance Studios and Dance Schools. Use of this website or information contained herein for any other purpose is strictly prohibited.
  7. If desired, Dance Teacher Network members may indicate on their profile that they want it displayed in the Private / Members Only section of the website.

How This Website Uses Your Information:

  1. Your nick name (can be a “screen name”), photo (or “avatar”), biographical description, website/blog URL, areas of dance expertise, your current dance teacher position, your availability for substitution assignments and your city will be displayed publicly on the website in the “Dance Teacher Network” section.  Therefore, DO NOT include any contact information you wish to keep private in these sections of your profile. Note: We display your city since Central Oregon is a big place.
  2. The contact information, as well as any resumes or other uploaded documents, you provide in your member profile will be shared with other members, as well as any member Dance Studios and Dance Schools for networking purposes.
  3. For individual members, only your City is shared publicly and with DTN members. Your street address and zip code are solely for the website owner’s reference.
  4. For studios, schools, and organizations, we will show your complete address details, publicly and with DTN members
  5. Individual members may indicate on their profiles that they only want it to be displayed in the Members Only private area.
  6. As stated in the above Privacy Policy, this website and its owners may also share your contact information in order to technically operate the website and networking services, and as required by law.
