Book Fish Hawk Wing Performances!

Fish Hawk Wing is available year-round for performing at your festival, community event, art night, or fundraiser. We would be happy to perform any choreography from our repertoire, commission a new dance piece specifically for your event, or present our improvisational dance for your event.

Our current choreography repertoire includes four 3 - 6 minute pieces including:

  ~ "Isadora Peace"
  ~ "Desert Walk"
  ~ "Tear Drop"
  ~ "Crazy"*

We also have a set of improvisational "palette cleansers" set to Ken Nordine's "Colors" from his "Word Jazz" spoken word collection. If you are looking for a way to space out your show or give breaks to your performers, our Colors would be a perfect fit. Each "Color" lasts for about 1.5 minutes and we have four: Yellow, Green, Burgundy and Mauve.

Last, we can design any form of dance improv to fit your type of event:

Poetry:	We love working with poets and can add a movement component to your poetry reading.
Live Music:	We 've also been known to "jam" with live music to add an aesthetically pleasing dance component to live music presentations
Random Chance:	Our more popular audience-pleaser. We set up to 5 minutes of various music snippets on random while volunteers spin the wheel to determine how we dance to the music. This one never comes out the same twice!
Other:	There is an infinite amount of dance improv techniques & possibilities which we can match to meet the needs of your event. Just ask!

Please note that to perform more than one of any of the above, we would need about 3-5 minutes between pieces for costume changes.

*Performing "Crazy" requires dance-friendly flooring and stage space.

At this time, we do not charge for performing at community events, non-profit fundraisers or festivals. If possible, we request that Fish Hawk Wing be included in any event publicity. Any donations to Fish Hawk Wing via our fiscal sponsor are always appreciated.
